Biography

Mary C. Fuller is a Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and holds the Mary Fuller Chair for the period from 2023 to 2025. She specializes in colonialism, postcolonialism, and early modern literature, focusing on geographical exploration and the historical memory of early English contacts with North America and Europe. Fuller has contributed significantly to the interdisciplinary field through numerous seminars and residential fellowships at esteemed libraries such as the John Carter Brown Library and the Huntington Library.
