Biography

Mary Reid Kelley is a Visiting Critic at the Weitzman School of Design, University of Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from St. Olaf College in Minnesota in 2001 and her Master of Fine Arts from Yale University School of Art in 2009. Kelley's work combines painting, performance, and video, often exploring themes of mortality, sex, and estrangement through historically specific tableaux that depict characters embodying significant ideas of their time.
