Biography

Maryam Shirvanifar is a PhD student at Linköping University specializing in Medical Science with a focus on Nutrition. Her research centers on the influence of overweight, obesity, and lifestyle habits on health outcomes, particularly in postpartum migrant women. As part of her engagement in the PRIMI project (Promoting Reproductive Health for Migrant Women), she aims to develop and evaluate a mobile application meant to promote healthy lifestyle habits among postpartum migrant women. She is multilingual and operates as a registered interpreter and translator for languages including Swedish, Persian, Dari, Turkish, Azerbaijani, and English.
