Generate a tailored SOP for Dr. Marziyeh Ghaeidamini. Improve your application with a focused, well-structured draft.
Marziyeh Ghaeidamini is a Visiting Researcher in Chemical Biology at Chalmers University. Her primary research focus is on the formation and aggregation of misfolded proteins, which are key hallmarks of age-related neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease. With a strong background in nanotechnology and inorganic chemistry, Marziyeh specializes in the synthesis and characterization of various kinds of nanoparticles. She joined Elin Esbjörner Winters’ group at Chalmers as an exchange PhD student in February 2018, where she studied protein aggregation and protein interactions with nanoparticles using biophysical techniques, including fluorescence spectroscopy and atomic force microscopy. Her current research combines live-cell studies to investigate the toxic properties of amyloid aggregates.
General requirements apply to all departments listed at Chalmers. Specific departments like Architecture require a portfolio. Programs in Management/Economics do not strictly require GMAT/GRE but high academic standing is prioritized.
