Biography

Masaki Hayashi received his B.S., M.S., and Dr. Eng. degrees in electronics engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1980, 1983, and 1999, respectively. He worked at NHK Science Technology Research Laboratories from 1986 to 2006 and was a guest associate professor at the Tokyo Institute of Technology from 2000 to 2003. Currently, he serves as an associate professor at Uppsala University, Campus Gotland, Sweden. In addition, he is a technical adviser at Astrodesign, Inc. His research encompasses the creation of CG content, visualization, and programming, focusing on innovations such as 4K/8K Ultra-High-Resolution Realtime CG for virtual museums and Automatic Animation Generation using Text-To-Vision technology. He is recognized for his expertise in CG, image processing, signal processing, and image compositing systems for virtual studios.
