Biography

Masoud Ardakani received his Bachelor of Science degree from Isfahan University of Technology in 1994, followed by a Master of Science from Tehran University in 1997, and a PhD from the University of Toronto in 2004, specializing in Electrical Engineering. He worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto from 2004 to 2005. Ardakani has extensive experience in research related to wireless communications, advanced channel coding techniques, and cloud storage computing applications. He has served as an Associate Editor and Senior Editor for numerous prestigious journals including the IEEE Transactions on Communications and IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, and he is currently the Editor-at-Large for IEEE Transactions on Communications. His research interests encompass modern coding theory, information theory, and wireless communication networks, with a focus on applications in artificial intelligence. His current projects include modern channel coding for 5G networks, sponsored by TELUS NSERC, and distributed storage for cloud computing, along with applications related to 5G wireless networks, sponsored by Huawei.
