Professor Dr. Masoud Asadzadeh

Biography

Dr. Masoud Asadzadeh is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Manitoba. He obtained his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo in 2013. With a strong academic background that includes an M.Sc. in Civil Environmental Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology, and a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology, Dr. Asadzadeh specializes in Water Resources Engineering, focusing on optimization methods and modeling techniques. His research encompasses integrated water management, watershed modeling, and the calibration of hydrologic models. He is dedicated to developing efficient tools for analyzing water resources systems, addressing challenges in water quality and distribution. Dr. Asadzadeh actively contributes to the academic environment by offering graduate student opportunities within his research domain.
