Dr. Masoud Azodi

Biography

Masoud Azodi is a Professor at the Yale School of Medicine, specializing in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences. He has over two decades of experience in the field and is known for his commitment to excellent patient care through the use of up-to-date surgical techniques and research. Dr. Azodi completed his medical education with an MD from Wright State University in 1992 and completed his residency at Aultman Hospital/Neoucom in 1996, followed by a fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at Yale. He is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology. His clinical focus includes the treatment of gynecologic cancers and pre-cancers, utilizing various therapies including chemotherapy and surgical options. Dr. Azodi has a special interest in minimally invasive surgical techniques, particularly robotic surgery, having performed over 2,500 conventional laparoscopic surgeries and more than 2,000 robotic-assisted cases. He also educates patients on fertility preservation options and is actively involved in research, serving as principal investigator on multiple protocols related to gynecologic cancer treatment. He has been recognized as a "Top Doc" by New York Magazine and is the editor-in-chief of an international journal dedicated to robotic surgery.
