Masoud Babaie received his B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology and Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Iran, in 2004 and 2006, respectively. He has published over 80 technical publications and holds 11 patents. His research spans analog RF/millimeter-wave integrated circuits, wireless communications, cryogenic electronics, and quantum computation, and he has received several accolades including the IEEE ISSCC Jan Van Vessem Award for Outstanding European Paper in 2020 and the Veni Award from the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research in 2019.
