Massimiliano Guasoni received his doctorate in 2011 from the University of Brescia, Italy. He was appointed as a research associate at the University of Bourgogne, France from 2012 to 2015. He then joined the Australian National University in 2016, under the Erasmus Mundus Fellowship.
