Biography

Mathijs Theelen is an Assistant Professor at Utrecht University in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, specializing in Equine Internal Medicine. Mathijs is also involved with the European Board of Veterinary Specialisation (EBVS), contributing to the training, examination, and accreditation of veterinary specialists across Europe. The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Utrecht University employs several EBVS specialists across various fields, ensuring a high standard of patient care and advanced training for future veterinarians.
