Dr. Mathilde Worch Jensen

Biography

Mathilde Worch Jensen is a tenure track assistant professor specializing in criminal law at the University of Copenhagen. Her research interests broadly encompass topics in criminal law, including the significance of international obligations on national law and practice. She is part of the Faculty of Law's group focusing on Criminal Law and Police, handling courses in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure as compulsory subjects at the bachelor's level, as well as Criminal Law and Human Rights as an elective course. Mathilde supervises both bachelor's and master's students in the mentioned subjects, including bachelor's projects, replacement projects, and theses. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Copenhagen, with a dissertation titled 'The Criminal Law Attempt and Accomplice Liability - A Victim's Perspective.' She completed her Master's degree in law at the same university in 2016.
