Generate a tailored SOP for Dr. Matias Delgadino. Improve your application with a focused, well-structured draft.
Delgadino's research interests are primarily related to mathematical modeling and partial differential equations (PDEs). A significant part of his work is dedicated to understanding self-organization phenomena in systems of particles and agents. From this perspective, he is currently working to understand the dynamics of parameter training in commonly used machine learning algorithms. He completed his undergraduate studies at the National University of Córdoba in Argentina and pursued his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics at the University of Maryland under the supervision of Antoine Mellet. After obtaining his Ph.D., he held postdoctoral positions at UNESCO's International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in Italy, supervised by Francesco Maggi, and at Imperial College in the United Kingdom with guidance from Greg Pavliotis and Jose Carrillo.
