Matissa Hollister is an Assistant Professor in Organizational Behaviour at McGill University's Desautels Faculty of Management. Her academic focus includes the responsible use of artificial intelligence, career management, and employment trends. Matissa holds a PhD in Sociology and Social Policy from Harvard University, as well as a Master's degree in City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies. Her research interests span various aspects of the labor market, including data analytics, career patterns, and organizational theory. She has received several accolades, including being named a McGill University Artificial Intelligence Fellow by the World Economic Forum and has contributed to significant research grants. Matissa has also been active in various academic and public forums, serving as a speaker and panelist on topics related to AI in human resources and its implications for the workforce.
