Dr. Matt Paradise is a Visiting Fellow at the Medicine & Health Centre, focusing on Healthy Brain Ageing. In 2016, he received a grant from the Dementia Centre Research Collaboration to develop an MRI-based cerebrovascular pathology index to improve diagnostic procedures. In 2018, he was the inaugural recipient of the Josh Woolfson Memorial Scholarship to investigate modifiable risk factors for Alzheimer's disease and to develop intervention strategies for at-risk individuals. Dr. Paradise is a strong advocate for older adults and works clinically as a Senior Staff Specialist at Concord Hospital and a Senior Visiting Medical Officer at Coffs Harbour.
