Biography

Matteo Dal Peraro graduated with a B.S. and M.S. in Physics from the University of Padua in 2000 and obtained his Ph.D. in Biophysics from the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) in Trieste in 2004. He received postdoctoral training at the University of Pennsylvania under the guidance of Professor M. L. Klein. In late 2007, he was appointed Tenure Track Assistant Professor at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in the School of Life Sciences. His research focuses on the Laboratory for Biomolecular Modeling (LBM) within the Interfaculty Institute of Bioengineering (IBI) and emphasizes multiscale modeling of large macromolecular systems.
