Dr. Matteo Leonetti

Biography

Matteo received his PhD in Computer Engineering from Sapienza University of Rome. He joined King's College London as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Informatics after holding post-doctoral positions at the University of Leeds and the University of Texas at Austin, as well as at the Italian Institute of Technology. His research interests encompass a range of topics within Computer Science including Reinforcement Learning, Planning, Reasoning, and Autonomous Robots. He has contributed to significant scholarly work that addresses complex problems like Model-Based Reinforcement Learning and Human-Robot Interaction. He has also been involved in various conferences and journals, publishing research on topics such as Goal-Conditioned Model Simplification and the analysis of human capabilities in interaction with robotic systems. His work emphasizes the integration of machine learning techniques in robotics and aims to enhance the interaction between humans and robots, furthering advancements in the field.
