Biography

Matthew Fox, M.D., is the Chief of the Division of Dermatology & Dermatologic Surgery and Associate Professor at the Dell Medical School. He leads the dermatology service line at Ascension Medical Group Central Texas. His clinical research interests focus on the management of high-risk cutaneous malignancies and Mohs micrographic surgery. Dr. Fox previously served as an assistant professor of dermatology at Dell Medical School from 2014 to 2019 and was involved in graduate medical education programs at UT Southwestern Medical Center from 2013 to 2014. He also held the position of clinical lecturer at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Dr. Fox has been recognized as a Texas Super Doctor for multiple years and received honors such as Dermatology Faculty of the Year at Dell Medical School in 2016-2017. He is a fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery and has been a member of the American Academy of Dermatology since 2011.
