Biography

Matthew Hale is an Associate Professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech. He received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 2012 and completed his PhD at Georgia Tech in 2017. His research broadly encompasses control and optimization with a strong emphasis on multi-agent systems and their applications in robotics. His long-term goal is to develop new theoretical tools to address fundamental and practical challenges in multi-agent systems, thereby enabling their safe, reliable, and efficient operation across a wide array of applications.
