Dr. Matthew Hornick

Biography

Matthew Hornick, MD, is a pediatric surgeon specializing in a wide array of conditions in patients from newborns to young adults. He values the importance of health and well-being for children, understanding it from his perspective as a father. His primary goal is to provide each patient with the level of care he would want for his own children. Dr. Hornick earned his medical degree from Yale and completed his general surgery training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He also served as a research fellow at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, contributing to the development of an 'artificial placenta' model designed to support extremely premature babies. Following his residency, he completed a clinical fellowship in Pediatric Surgery at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
