Dr. Matthew Hunt

Biography

Matthew Hunt is a Professor at the School of Physical and Occupational Therapy at McGill University, where he is also a regular researcher at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Rehabilitation of Metropolitan Montreal and the Centre for Research in Ethics. He holds a PhD in Experimental Medicine from McGill University and has completed post-doctoral fellowships at the Centre for Research Ethics at the University of Montreal and the Department of Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at McMaster University. His teaching spans qualitative research in rehabilitation science and ethics across various undergraduate and professional Master's programs in Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy. His current research interests focus on ethical issues in rehabilitation care, humanitarian practices, policy implications, and health equity for persons with disabilities. He is actively involved in several academic committees and holds associate memberships in multiple departments related to health and ethics at McGill University.
