Biography

Matthew Kaminsky is an Associate Professor at the University of Chicago, specializing in trauma care and surgical intervention for acute injuries. His research focuses on various aspects of trauma surgery, including penetrating abdominal injuries and the management of gunshot wounds. A significant portion of his work is centered around pancreaticoduodenectomy, a complex surgical procedure that can be critical in traumatic cases.
