Biography

Matthew X. Roling is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Kellogg School of Management and the inaugural Executive Director of the Abrams Climate Academy. The academy is a year-long experiential learning program that equips graduate students with the tools, knowledge, and connections needed to lead climate action and develop innovative solutions to the climate crisis. With a professional background situated at the intersection of business, policy, and environment, Roling has previously worked at KPMG, LLP., where he assisted corporate and government clients in measuring greenhouse gas pollution, developing strategies to reduce emissions, and identifying funding sources for decarbonization efforts. He has also taught at both Fordham University and Wayne State University. Roling holds a master’s degree from the Harvard Kennedy School and bachelor's degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
