Biography

Matthew D. Shapiro is the Lawrence R. Klein Collegiate Professor of Economics at the University of Michigan and a Research Professor at the Survey Research Center within the Institute for Social Research. He previously served as a Senior Economist on the Council of Economic Advisers, advising the President on macroeconomic analysis.
