Biography

Matthew C. Stephenson is the Henry L. Shattuck Professor of Law at Harvard Law School. His teaching and research focus primarily on administrative law, legislation, regulation, anti-corruption law, and the political economy of public law. His academic work involves the application of positive political theory to public law, investigating critical areas such as administrative procedure, anti-corruption measures, and judicial institutions, particularly concerning the separation of powers. His previous academic appointments include serving as an Assistant Professor of Law at Harvard Law School from 2005 to 2010. Throughout his career, he has contributed to various publications and has a keen interest in areas relating to administrative law and political corruption, among others.
