Dr. Matthew Yuyun

Biography

Matthew Fomonyuy Yuyun, MD, MPhil, PhD, is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Cardiovascular Medicine at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. He specializes in Cardiovascular Diseases and Cardiac Electrophysiology. He holds an MD from the University of Yaoundé and both an MPhil and a PhD from the University of Cambridge. His work includes significant contributions to the understanding and treatment of Atrial Fibrillation, Heart Failure, Mitral Valve Insufficiency, and the applications of Catheter Ablation and Implantable Defibrillators. Yuyun is affiliated with the VA Boston Healthcare System and Harvard Medical School. He actively engages in research collaborations and has a robust presence in the academic community, where he co-authors publications with numerous researchers in his field.
