Biography

Matthias Katzfuss is a Professor in the Department of Statistics at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. His research interests include computational spatial and spatio-temporal statistics, Gaussian processes, uncertainty quantification, data assimilation, and applications of environmental satellite remote-sensing data.
