Biography

Matthias Kuehne is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at Brown University, joining in 2023 after postdoctoral work in the group of Professor Michael Strano at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He completed his doctoral studies at the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research, where he received a doctorate in natural sciences from the University of Stuttgart in Germany. At Brown, his research focuses on investigating the fluidic, ionic, and electronic properties of low-dimensional materials and devices.
