Matthieu De Mari obtained an Engineering Master’s Degree from Centrale Marseille, France, in 2011, followed by a Research Master of Science from Aix-Marseille University, specializing in Applied Optics, Photonics, and Signal Image Theory. He began his career working on cognitive radio projects during industry internships with Safran Group and NEC Technologies, and engaged in research at the Large Networks and Systems Group (LANEAS). In November 2011, he joined LANEAS for his Ph.D. studies under the supervision of Professors Mérouane Debbah and Emilio Calvanese Strinati, focusing on Radio Resource Management in Green Wireless Networks, which he completed in July 2015. He then spent time volunteering in North and South America before taking on a post-doctoral research position at the Wireless Networks and Decision Systems group at Singapore University of Technology and Design, where he contributed until 2020. In March 2020, he commenced his role as a lecturer in the Information Systems Technology and Design pillar. His research interests encompass Machine Learning, Game Theory, and Deep Learning, with a passion for teaching and mentoring students in mathematical concepts through innovative and engaging methods. He also volunteers at the International French School of Singapore, fostering a love of mathematics among young learners.
