Biography

Matthieu Lauras is a seasoned academic currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. He holds a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from Toulouse Polytechnic National Institute, where his dissertation focused on 'Supply Chain Diagnosis Performance Assessment'. He also possesses a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master of Science in Systems Engineering. His research expertise spans several domains such as Demand Driven Adaptive Enterprises, Humanitarian Logistics, and Operations Research, with a particular emphasis on Supply Chain Management. Over the years, Lauras has worked alongside numerous industrial partners across diverse sectors including cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, automotive, aeronautics, and healthcare. His research contributions focus on aiding industrial players to navigate uncertain and disrupted environments, applying scientific paradigms like the Physical Internet and Digital Twin. His extensive experience in entrepreneurship and collaborative research with industry provides him with unique insights into the practical applications of industrial management systems.
