Biography

Matthieu Schmittbuhl is a full professor and head of the dental imaging clinical service at the Faculty of Dentistry at the Université de Montréal. He also serves as the head of the Department of Stomatology at the CHUM. He graduated from the University of Strasbourg in France and completed a specific program in maxillofacial and ENT imaging at the University of Paris Descartes. His recent projects include exploring the impact of maxillary expansion on pharyngeal airway volume in juvenile idiopathic arthritis patients and validating low-dose CBCT imaging modalities for canine location assessments.
