Dr. Mattias Belting

Biography

Mattias Belting is a Professor of Oncology at Lund University, where he also serves as a Senior Consultant in Oncology. His work centers on elucidating the molecular events involved in the formation and progression of malignant tumors, as well as the development of novel strategies for targeted cancer therapy. He leads the Tumor Microenvironment research group, where ongoing projects focus on therapeutic approaches for glioblastoma and studies integrating focused ultrasound with new therapeutic modalities for gliomas.
