Maureen Phipps, MD, MPH, is a nationally recognized leader in women’s health, equity, and academic medicine. She served as Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Brown University from 2010 to 2019 and held the Chace-Joukowsky Professorship from 2013 to 2019. She served as CEO of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) from 2019 to 2023, guiding the organization through the COVID-19 pandemic and advocating for evidence-based care. In addition, she is the CEO of MGP Strategies LLC, where she partners with healthcare executives to drive improvements in healthcare outcomes.
