Biography

Maureen Sarewitz is a clinical instructor in the Department of Health Systems and Population Health and the founder of Acacia Growth & Impact Consulting, a product management marketing consultancy supporting growth and strategic priorities for nonprofits and startups. She has worked with a variety of public health organizations and a nonprofit health tech company that leverages and democratizes data to improve global health outcomes, including the Global Health eLearning program at the University of Washington. Previously, Sarewitz worked at UW’s International Training and Education Center for Health (I-TECH), supporting capacity building for health care workers in Tanzania and Namibia. She spent 10 years managing complex projects and initiatives in the technology sector. Sarewitz earned her master’s degree in development economics from Tufts University and an MBA from Dartmouth College.
