Mauricio Najarro is a Lecturer in the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at King's College London. With a focus on health inequalities, Najarro's research interests sit at the intersection of sociology and medical anthropology. Previously, they were a Lecturer in the Departments of History and Data Science at the University of California, Berkeley. Najarro holds a Ph.D. in Medical Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley–UCSF Medical Anthropology Joint Program, as well as a Ph.D. in Theological Religious Studies from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley.
