He has also founded a spinout company, OxeHealth, and leads a research group focused on cardiovascular and neurodegenerative diseases, early detection, and chronic condition management. Additionally, Mauro is involved with the Podium Institute for Youth Sports Medicine, working on technologies to monitor sports injuries in young athletes.
