Mauro Calcagno is an Associate Professor in the Department of Music. As co-director of the Marenzio Online Digital Edition (MODE), funded by an NEH grant, he has edited extensive perspectives on Luca Marenzio's secular music. Calcagno currently supervises dissertations on varied topics, teaches doctoral seminars in critical theories of opera and Baroque music, and directs activities in the Music Department. He was also the Undergraduate Chair from 2015 to 2021.
