Biography

Mauro Luberti is a University Teacher at the School of Engineering, University of Edinburgh, specializing in Chemical Engineering. His teaching responsibilities include organizing and supervising various Chemical Engineering courses and projects, demonstrating his commitment to the academic development of his students. His research interests encompass Chemical Engineering Design, focusing on the synthesis and economics of processes involved in hydrogen purification, air separation, carbon capture, biogas upgrading, olefins and paraffins separation, and NGL recovery. He has also worked on simulation, validation, and optimization of ethylene plants, along with performing low-temperature assessments and flare capacity studies in the Oil & Gas industry.
