Biography

Mauro Pezzè is a full professor of Software Engineering at the Università della Svizzera italiana and at the University of Milano Bicocca. He previously held positions as an associate professor at Politecnico di Milano and has been a visiting scientist at the University of California, Irvine, and the University of Edinburgh. Pezzè's research interests focus on software engineering, particularly in software test analysis. He has been actively involved in academia, serving as an associate editor for the ACM Transactions on Software Engineering and Methodologies (TOSEM), and has held executive positions within technical committees, including the Technical Committee on Complexity in Computing (TCCX). Pezzè has participated as a chair and member in program committees for various international conferences. He is also a co-author of the book "Software Testing Analysis: Process, Principles Techniques," which was published by John Wiley in 2007. He holds a Laurea degree from the University of Pisa and a PhD from Politecnico di Milano, and is a senior member of the ACM and IEEE.
