I have been a professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Montreal since 2013. After obtaining a Bachelor's degree at Concordia (2001), a Master's degree at Université de Montréal (2004), and a PhD from Albert-Ludwigs-Universität, Freiburg in Germany (2009), I completed postdoctoral stages at McGill and Chicago from 2009 to 2013 (FRQSC, CRSH), as well as at the universities of Cologne and Copenhagen in 2022 and 2023 (Humboldt). I have recently completed a monograph for Oxford University Press titled 'Phenomenology of Norms of Perception' (2024) and am currently focusing on my new project on the plasticity of perception (CRSH 2025-2030). Since the summer of 2025, I have been the editor-in-chief of the journal 'Phenomenology and the Cognitive Sciences'.
