Biography

May-Britt Öhman is an Associate Professor in Environmental History at Åbo Akademi University. She completed her PhD in History and Technology from the Royal Institute of Technology in 2007. Öhman has extensive expertise in various interdisciplinary fields, including Gender Studies, Science and Technology Studies, History, Colonial History, and Decolonizing Studies. She has been a member of various research councils and editorial boards, actively contributing to the discourse surrounding Gender, Science, Technology, and Environmental Justice.
