Maya Haviland is a Translational Fellow and Senior Lecturer in the Centre for Heritage and Museum Studies. She leads the Scaffolding Cultural Co-Creativity Project, which is an international action learning project focused on co-creation dynamics within diverse cultural contexts. Her research specializes in community-led initiatives involving Indigenous communities, participatory action research, and evaluating practice-based research. Haviland recently co-produced a documentary exploring cultural documentation's role in cultural revival and published the book 'Side By Side? Community Art Challenge Co-Creativity' in 2017.
