Biography

Medha Gargeya is a Lecturer at Harvard Law School, where she focuses on government-facing appellate litigation. She is a Senior Associate at WilmerHale, currently serving as a reserve officer in the U.S. Air Force's Judge Advocate General Corps. Prior to rejoining WilmerHale, she worked in the front office of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Division, where she played an essential role in shaping legal strategy, reviewing briefs, and coordinating the Department’s leadership on significant litigation. Medha also served as Associate Counsel to the Vice President at the White House, advising on oversight, government ethics, compliance, and various policy issues. Medha graduated from Harvard Law School in 2019 and from Harvard College in 2014. Her experience includes clerking for Judge Roger Wollman on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and teaching art law at the University of South Dakota School of Law. During law school, she was a Heyman Fellow and served as a law fellow for the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee. Additionally, she was a resident pre-law public service tutor at Harvard's undergraduate residential colleges and worked with Google and the Tobin Project, focusing on community issues. She studied at the New England Conservatory.
