Meenakshi Alreja is an Associate Professor at Yale School of Medicine, with a focus on understanding brain circuits related to learning and memory mechanisms. Her research encompasses cellular mechanisms within septohippocampal and prefrontal cortical circuits, which are implicated in cognitive deficits associated with neurological diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and Lewy body dementia.
