Biography

Meg Peterson’s work in academia and industry has taken her around the globe, using art and creativity as means to connect people and communities through projects, programmes, workshops, exhibitions. She is the founder of 21 Artists, a consultancy focused on fostering, documenting, and evaluating art as a means of social change and artist development. Meg has extensive experience working in the UK, South America, and Africa as a consultant, educator, curator, and artist, encouraging learning and collaboration through exchange programmes, research projects, courses, workshops, and seminars at universities and institutions. Her research encompasses cultural entrepreneurship, combining business model innovation with social entrepreneurship and creativity to develop new models of innovative value creation within creative industries. Currently, she is developing participatory research projects in partnership with organizations in Chile, Morocco, Uganda, and Palestine.
