Biography

Megan received a B.A. in Chemistry from Washington University in St. Louis, where she was a member of the softball team. She earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, Irvine, working under the guidance of Bill Evans on 'Spectroscopic Computational Analysis of Rare Earth Actinide Complexes in Unusual Coordination Environments and Oxidation States'. Following her Ph.D., Megan pursued postdoctoral studies with Prof. Bill Tolman at the University of Minnesota as part of the NSF Center for Sustainable Polymers, where she collaborated on research projects focusing on sustainable polymer development.
