Biography

Megan Jeon is a post-doctoral research fellow working on the Brain Cancer Rehabilitation Assessment Interventions Survivorship Needs (BRAINS) Program led by the Psycho-Oncology Co-Operative Research Group (PoCoG) at the School of Psychology. Her research focuses on psychological quality-of-life outcomes, symptom management, and supportive care for individuals with chronic health conditions, particularly brain tumors and their families. Through the BRAINS program, Megan's projects aim to develop a consensus on optimal care coordination for primary brain tumors, identify areas for further support, and upskill healthcare professionals to enhance the neuro-oncology care workforce. Her studies explore current community-based care models in Australia, and findings will inform the development and implementation of interventions to improve access to coordinated care for those affected by primary brain tumors.
