Biography

Megan Keszler is an Assistant Professor (Teaching) at the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Nursing. With over twenty years of experience in bedside nursing, she specializes in acute care, critical care, cardiology, and internal medicine. In addition to maintaining her bedside practice, Megan is actively involved in teaching, having instructed thirty clinical groups in acute care. She currently teaches pathophysiology and is a member of the curriculum development committee focused on enhancing the pathophysiology courses for the new curriculum. Megan also serves as the academic co-chair of the Undergraduate Programs Committee and is involved in the Practice Procedure Guidelines Subcommittee. Her research interests encompass neurodiversity in nursing, nursing education innovation to adapt to evolving patient, workplace, and student demands, as well as innovations in clinical judgement instruction and curriculum policy development.
