Biography

Megan Yang completed her psychiatry residency training at Queen’s University in 2017. She is a passionate advocate for mental health care with expertise in digital mental health. From 2017 to 2023, she led a clinic dedicated to serving the unique needs of Transitional Aged Youth and in 2023, she led the Early Psychosis Intervention Program, demonstrating her commitment to providing specialized care. In addition to her clinical practice in the Adult Mental Health outpatient department at Kingston Health Sciences Centre as an ER psychiatrist, Dr. Yang also enjoys teaching and mentoring the next generation of mental health professionals. She supervises research at Queen’s Online Psychotherapy Lab, focusing on specific areas of interest including ADHD research, psychedelic-assisted therapy, and e-psychotherapy. Currently, she is completing a Certificate in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies Research at the California Institute of Integral Studies. In her free time, she enjoys snowboarding, consuming delicious food, and petting furry animals.
