Biography

Meghan Lubner, MD, FSAR, FACR is a professor in the Radiology Section with a focus on Abdominal Imaging Intervention. She joined the faculty in 2009 after completing an abdominal imaging fellowship at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics following her residency at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has a strong commitment to education as recognized by multiple awards, including the Igor Laufer Professorship from the Society of Abdominal Radiology. Dr. Lubner's research interests lie in the areas of new technologies in computed tomography, particularly dual-energy iterative reconstruction, as well as image-guided tumor ablation and oncologic imaging. Her research has garnered significant attention, featuring on the cover of the journal Radiology: Artificial Intelligence. Additionally, she has been acknowledged as an outstanding educator and mentor, having traveled extensively to radiology programs worldwide and attending numerous conferences throughout the past year.
